Terms of Service

Cubsly · Last updated: 10 July 2026

1. The service

Cubsly provides an AI learning tutor for children aged 6–14 with parental oversight: safety-screened Socratic tutoring for your child, and weekly learning insights for you. Cubsly is a learning aid — it is not a school, a medical or psychological service, or a childcare substitute.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Accounts are created and held by adults (parents or legal guardians) only. You must be legally able to consent to data processing for the children you add. One family per account; you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe.

3. Parental responsibility

You decide which children use Cubsly, what topics are allowed, and whether optional features (voice input, weekly insights) are enabled. Child PINs separate siblings on a shared device; they are a convenience, not a security boundary. Supervision of your child's overall device use remains yours.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to bypass safety systems, no automated scraping or bulk account creation, no reselling, and no use of the tutor for anything other than a child's learning within your family.

5. AI-generated content

Tutor replies are generated by artificial intelligence and screened by safety systems, but AI can make mistakes. Weekly insights are grounded in your child's actual questions and are deliberately conservative — where data is thin we say so rather than guess. Cubsly does not provide professional advice of any kind.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Cubsly offers a permanent free tier and paid monthly plans (billed in USD via Stripe, prices shown before purchase, exclusive of applicable taxes). Each plan includes a monthly learning budget shown to you as a usage bar. Plans renew monthly until cancelled; cancelling downgrades you to the free tier at the end of the paid period — your data is not deleted by cancelling. Refunds for billing errors: write to support@cubsly.com.

7. Your data

Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You can export or permanently delete your family's data at any time from the app.

8. Safety interventions

To protect children, we may block or redirect conversations, notify you of safety events, and — in line with our duty of care — escalate indications of risk to our safeguarding review. We may suspend accounts that attempt to abuse or endanger the service.

9. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update features and these terms; material changes will be notified by email, and continued use after notice means acceptance.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cubsly's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
